The Polaris Vac-Sweep 380 is regarded as an efficient pressure side pool cleaner that is designed specifically for cleaning any shape or surface of in-ground swimming pools. This pool vacuum is able to clean the bottom and walls of your pool leaving them spotless. The Polaris 380 features a huge filter bag. It is able to carry large amounts of debris from the pool without having to empty it frequently. This filter bag technology helps a lot in collecting the dirt in time before it gets in contact with the pump basket.

The Polaris 380 pool cleaner uses a belt-drive system, the wheels including a 3-jet system to move efficiently and effectively through the swimming pool. It cleans a pool thoroughly by sweeping and scrubbing. In case it gets stuck, there is an inbuilt back-up valve that frees it easily. The Polaris Vac-Sweep 380 requires a separately available booster pump.

Features of the Polaris Vac-Sweep 380 Pressure Side Pool Cleaner

  • Belt-Drive Mechanism

The Polaris Vac-Sweep 380 has a smooth belt-drive system that operates efficiently and allows the wheels to rotate easily. The good thing about the belt is that, it can easily be replaced when it’s worn out. In case you realize the machine is suddenly not moving, that is when a new belt is required. All you need to do is to purchase a new one and install it.

  • Large Filter Bag Capacity

The Polaris 380 pool cleaner includes a large filter bag to hold debris during the cleaning process. The bag capacity is large enough to contain all the debris without constantly emptying out the content. The  Polaris 380 filter bag removes debris before it reaches your pump basket or filter, prolonging the life of your filtration system.

  • Booster Pump Required
Zodiac PB4-60 Polaris Booster Pump

The Polaris Vac-Sweep 380 requires a booster pump to operate. A booster pump is not included and sold separately (Zodiac PB4-60 Polaris booster pump). The PB4-60 provides maximum power so your cleaner can pick up even the largest debris, while circulating water throughout all areas of the pool.

  • 31-Foot Hose Kit

The Polaris Vac-Sweep 380 includes a fairly long 31-foot hose. It drags behind the machine’s body to scrub off all the debris from the pool leaving it thoroughly spotless.

  • In-Line Back-Up Valve

The Polaris 380 features an in-line back-up valve which automatically frees the cleaner if it gets cornered and keeps it cleaning without interruption. The back-up valve reverses the cleaner every 3 minutes hence making sure it does not get stuck.

  • 3-Jet Suction Venturi Design

The Polaris 380 is driven by the most powerful 3-jet suction venturi design. This system provides greater vacuum power and faster cleaning.
